It doesnt matter what one thinks is better spiritually, because this can vary from person to person.
The reality is, hes not God, and it is impossible.
Jesus himself is reported saying(abstractly):
"I do nothing of myself, I only do the will of my Father who sent me"
He also prays to God and falls in prostration to Him, stating his own inability, and God's All-Powerful ability.
Thus from this, either you can conclude:
1) Jesus is not god
2) the Bible has contradictions, so therefore can not be trusted in its entirety and must have been tampered by people.
3) God purposely revealed statements to confuse people.
The reality is you can not find one decisive proof to say Jesus is god, from the Bible.

Jesus is the son of God so he is mainly you brother. He isn't God he is the human example of God. You worship him because of that but God is the main source of power.

I can trace my ancestors to be for Jesus, and my family has not bread with any of his decedents. Then he is not my brother, and not my god. We where here first, he should worship us.
