Not many I would guess. Every time I drive by a dealership, the salespeople are outside smoking. Clowns.

It depends on what brand they are selling. Usually, salespeople in Nissan, Toyota and Honda sell more than Dodge, Ford, Chevy, Chrysler and Mitsubishi. A good sale would be 8-10 cars a month. A bad one would be 0-1, which happens often at GM and Ford.

I sell between 8-14 per month, many off of AutoTrader and Ebay. Some stores have salesman that sell upwards of 20 or 30 per month, usually "minis" ($100). I would rather sell 10 at $750 comission each, (total of $7,500), than 20 at $100-200 each (total of $2,000 to $4,000).

It depends on the sales person. My neighbor who is a sales person/sales manager says on average he sells 10 cars a week. and he only works 4 days a week.
