A healthy weight for that height can vary greatly due to age, muscle tone and body structure, but the healthy range for someone 5'5" is generally between 120 and 145.

125 pounds plus/minus ten pounds either way. The current rule of thumb is to allow 100 pounds for 5 feet and then 5 pounds for every inch over that to come up with the average desirable weight for your height.

Man or woman? There is a difference.
For a man a good method of measurement is one kilo for every centimetre over one metre.So if you are a guy 5' 5" thats 172 cm.
your weight should be around 72 kilos.or about 165 lbs.
For a woman you can knock 25% off so about 120 lbs.
The secret then is to keep it off.

take care

It depends. There are other factors that go into figuring the proper weight. Men and women would have different weights for the same height. Also, the age is also a factor.
A good site to check out is http://kidshealth.org/teen/food_fitness/dieting/weight_height.html
Hope it helps you.

5.5" makes you 65 inches and your weight should be about 65KG a kg per inch is considered approximately the right weight the rest depends upon the persons build broader bigger boned people will naturally be heavier than small boned people with the same height !

It varies and depends upon your build and whether you have muscle tone. So if we just isolate build here are the stats:
Small = 117-130
Medium = 127-141
Large = 137-155
Hope you find what you're after.

according to the BMI(Body Mass Index) Scale, a "right" weight is between 110 and 145lbs. this, however, is just a generality and does not take into account things such as fat to muscle ratios.
