Stop trying to figure it out! For once, try to believe in someone that cannot be fathomed and I am confident that your faith will allow you to understand.

We have been given too many choices! So we question everything! Do we question homosexuality and lesbianism? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So stop questioning God! ...and it these choices, if we are not careful, that is going to lead us all to hell!

I dont understand them..they say there's no evidence of God, but tell me where's the evidence that gas, liquids, solids, etc. have always existed and caused the "big bang" and such? Can science really prove why we all dont look the same? i mean we are made the same, 90% water, have flesh and bones..why not have the same features, right? Science has limited proof to everything it states. The bible has only one limited proof..how was God created? But that doesnt matter because He always existed just like how you claim all those elements existed. I say it takes way more faith to stick to what science states and NOT BELIEVE IN GOD than to have faith that there is a God.

I've said this before and I hope you guys could see it from my point of view too;

YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE IF YOU BELIEVE IN GOD AND JESUS. IF GOD EXISTS AND YOU BELIEVED IN HIM AND ACCEPTED JESUS AS YOUR LORD ANS SAVIOR, YOU WILL GO TO HEAVEN, IF HE DOESNT EXIST YOU DIDNT LOSE ANYTHING BY BELIEVING. IF YOU DIDNT BELIEVE AND HE EXISTS THEN YOU WILL GO TO HELL. NOW IF HE DOESNT EXIST, WETHER YOU DID OR DID NOT BELIEVE IN HIM, YOU WILL NOT LOSE A THING.

NOT BELIEVING IN GOD IS FAR MORE A RISK THAN BELIEVING..I SAY BELIEVE IN GOD..YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE!

I think its because most people understand and believe just the facts. Since much of the Bible was written by people who "said" these are the words of god, most people chuck it off as a story and nothing more. Since religion and government went hand in hand in early civilizations, many people feel the concept of "god" was just made up to control the masses. Many people are "spiritual", but not religious or do not believe in organized religion (or that there is a god). Most people believe in science more than some mythical being that stands by the pearly gates of heaven making decisions on who will be allowed in or not. The very concept of a "god" is either laughable or scary to even want to understand for many. I feel you may get many different answers to this one, but thats only my opinion.

Some people find it difficult to accept the existence of God for several reasons, one being that they're raised by parents that pound their faith into them and use it as a scapegoat to solve behavioral problem, and many are raised without learning the meaning of faith, of which is based upon a belief system that is speculated by man, thus cannot be proved logically. There are far too many unanswered questions that boggle many peoples minds, such as why hasn't God spoke to anyone for more than 2000 yrs?

There is no reason to believe in anything that cannot be objectively and scientifically proven.

god is a fraud, a lie, a deception that is used by those in power to control those who are weaker.

It is incredible that after such a high develop of science and history that people can be so vulnerable and empty-headed to believe that there can exist such a complete deception.

"Religion is the opium of the people." A truer statement has never been made.

that's an analogy. that's likewise an ignus fatuus (actually!). existence exists, aims exist and there is a (tenuous) courting between them. you've not demonstr8ed the existence of any afterlife with any which remarkable or wonderful courting with our 'everyday' existence. Your argument is truly destroyed. I do imagine distinctive the respondents on right here no longer in reality lack mind, yet also any organic shame or embarrassment as to make such fools of theirselves. If there's a god that's way previous your comprehension and isn't any longer for peeps which includes you. interest over- you lose!..bypass again??

I think what it is is that God isn't something tangible, besides the things we see every day and take for granted. Human nature usually requires some sort of sense to be used before we can really believe something exists. To be honest, I personally believe in God regardless of the fact that i can't touch see feel hear or smell him. God is something that has to exist in your sub conscious, you just have to know He's there, you can't rely on your basic human abilities to prove his existence, because He's beyond that. I mean, he did create us, if he wanted us to be able to see him every day just like a regular joe, he very well could have, but I think the real trial that God puts us through is blind faith. You just have to know he's there regardless of whether or not you can experience him sensually. You just have to believe.

Why does this always have to come back to homosexuality. I got news for you people - homosexuality will be demysitified and accepted in the future.

You know why = Because there is nothing wrong with it... People like you (as in people who can't think for themselves), will be viewed as intolerant racists akin to Nazi's and slave owners. One day, your progeny will be embarrassed about their intolerant, homosexual persecuting ancestors.

On the bright side the good news for all of you is, that despite what the church has told you, homosexuality is not contagious. So relax, if you like the opposite sex now, you probably will continue to do so in the future....

I believe that much of the time Satan is putting doubts into people's minds about God but when it comes to homosexuality, he is not going to interfere with that. WE as Christians need to stand up and stop being so passive.

If I start believing in one thing with no evidence to support it, why stop there? Why not just believe in everything that pops into my head? Or anything anyone tells me, no matter what, no questions? There's a word for believing in things that aren't real and it's not called faith, it's called insanity.

It is so hard because they do not have God in their hearts. You can NEVER believe in something that is not compatible for you to believe.

No more than you can stop believing in God. This is a sad truth.

They know he exists but simply do not want to believe so. And the only thing stronger than their disbelief is belief.
