Take in account the history, what is happening now, and don't say, "I see our faith blah blah blah good." because I have yet to see a good religion...

It is always interesting to see my religion from another's point of view.

What do I see? Well just about every religion has a good view of Jesus. The only one that has not like Jesus very much were the Jews but that is beginning to change. They even call him their Jewish brother (as Jesus was a Jew).

What people seem to have a problem with is Christians themselves as we are labeled hypocrites.

"Good" religion lies solely in the individual. There are good and bad in every religion and every walk of life. No-one can say "ALL Catholics are good" or "All Muslims are good" or "All Buddhists are good" because it's just not true. There are people in every walk of life that practice a certain religion or philosophy but are bad within themselves. Some religions have good teachings, in fact Id say ALL have some good teachings and all religions have some bad ones.

I am a Christian and I am well aware that many Christian doctrines (those from man) have some really bad ideas. Some churches also lean very much towards the crazy side but I myself am not all of those people. I dont claim to know all the answers or corner the market on Truth but, I do try and see how Jesus and the Apostles lived and be like them. When I fail to, it is not Jesus' fault, it's my own.

When I see my religion and the religion only, I see perfection. I am a Christian. Having said that however, when I see the people who practice my religion, I see fallible, flawed individuals, as we all are. Unfortunately, many of these people have not allowed the principles of their religion to change their hearts and their actions are as Godless and ruthless as sometimes the worst of the worst. Others deceitfully use the religion as schemes to take advantage of others. Still, there are others (fundamentalists) who wholeheartedly endorse one aspect of the religion and enact other rules and actions that are wholly incompatible with the other principles. The thing about religion is this, there's nothing wrong with religion itself. It's the people who either don't know about the true meaning of their religion and its tenets, or those who are in it to take advantage of others who serve as horrible ambassadors for the rest of the world.

Well, as a Jew, this is easy. Both the "New Testament" and the "Koran" talk about my religion, and what they seem to say is not pretty.

Of course, as someone who does not view these writings as divine, it doesn't affect my view of my religion.

I could tell you many good things that my Christian belief has done for me and for other people but no one can make you see or believe but yourself. Why don't you do a personal survey or a research of every belief that way you can gather evidences for yourself. Good luck.
