I have windows Xp, but I can't find the Pro cd that came with the comp. Is there any way to download it online or anything?

No, just try to look for the same version of xp use in the installation, or you can use any other fax software that is not made by Microsoft, just download them from Internet , by searching for fax software,

When it prompts you for the CD can you choose browse? If so browse to the Windows directory and it may fiind the files it needs to install MS Fax.

I don't think so, because for fax facility u have to need a modem and a modem CD in MS WIN XP PROFESSIONAL
