You pretty much nailed it, anymore america just seems to be about money. Just ask Congress! LOLOL They can't say no, to Bush, or anyone else. As far as heritage goes, there's so many people out there that don't want to realize and admit that some of that heritage is kind of unpleasant, the formation of america took place through several wars, preserving it will probably take more, ironically on this issue, the republicans, the 'republic' people, have spent more time obsessing on war efforts halfway around the planet and pretty much disregarded a lot of domestic problems. One of those domestic problems is entitlement-ism.
Mexicans have it, and they're not even a state, YET! Too bad they don't realize that a hospital aspirin now costs something like the annual GDP of venezuela, and that high rents and property taxes will eventually put paid to the rest. Americans are being forced onto a treadmill in the name of 'the economy' and woe betide the 'citizen' that dares to jump off that treadmill. It's time to call 'bullshit' on a lot of the rhetoric and prevent Congress from completely ruining livability in america, by firing them in November. Make sure to support a good, america-first candidate in November!!!!

No, mass immigration isn't good for the economy, and precisely for the reasons you said. But mass deportations won't work either, because of the loss of money those immigrants (however illegal) put into the economic system. This immigration problem isn't really a problem, just pumped up by those who want to stay in power. 12 million sounds like a lot until you see that is approximately the size of New York City and Washington DC put together and spread out throughout the United States. Hundreds may come in but hundreds are deported as well every day. Leave the situation alone and those unwanted jobs Bush talks about will be filled but we won't be overrun with illegals. And then we can move on to more important problems facing America.

Mass immigration is a bad thing, Hospitals, schools, roads, get over crowded, jobs availability declines. When the government runs the census they use this to fund the state if the numbers are wrong, there is no money to support the infrastructure of the state or city. Example, California 3 Hospitals closed in 2 years, schools overcrowded, housing prices out the roof, divided socially and economically, there's basically no middle income, either you have or you don't. This is bad and it is only going to get worse, Our government has to stop this, the majority rules and I think that I can safely say that the majority of us want this stopped. NOW!!!!. Don't call me racist, this is not the way to come in this country, we are being invaded, laws are being broken and American families are suffering the consequences.
P.S. The reason why so many immigrants come here is for jobs right?. Why don't we fine those companies that are hiring illegals at the tune of say 50k per illegal.
In the new courthouse being built in downtown Orlando they were 26 illegals working, you're not going to tell me that any red blooded American wouldn't want that job.
A friend of mine got turned down from a painting job because he wanted at least $12/hr. the owner told him I can get people who would do it for $8, guess who he was referring to.
God help us.

Your leaders don't give a damn about your children.
Quickly: It's not immigration it's colonization, and when states start going back to Mexico, there will be another civil war and a war for independance from Mexico again. But then, since your leaders are not protecting you now, why should they when they take over the states?
Do what the Mexicans do. Make your voice be heard and your votes count. No amnesty. Illegal entry a felony. Enforce our laws. If you don't, a war on our soil will surely happen as sure as Hispanics in California predict there will be no diversity there in 20 years as all politicians will be hispanic, and La Reconquista can be full blown by then.

There have been a number of studies on this. Immigration of skilled workers has a net economic benefit, immigration of unskilled workers and dependents has a net economic detriment. Beyond that, there is the issue that those who benefit, the employers, are not those who pay the price of overcrowded schools and reduced domestic upward mobility, etc. The ordinary tax payer pays that price.
There is not a realistic debate on this point in the pros and cons of serious economists. The debate is only in the 'fuzzy economy' where people don't tally up the numbers.
That is why countries are uniform on putting restrictions on how much poor immigration they will permit.

You are missing the point totally and 100%. The point of mass immigration and amnesty for 12 million people here illegally is votes for political parties that think they can woo them. The left thinks they are on the lower income spectrum and will support the party of minorities (Democrats) and the right actually thinks they are more conservative minded (religous, moral etc) and will turn to their (Republican) party. Hence we all lose except the 12 million new Americans....they win social security, meaningful health care, free educations, and the right to ignore our rule of law when they feel like it.

Mass immigration is a very serious problem for our economy. Without including the fact that production is no longer a major source of income in the United States it can be said that....
Mass immigration creates ANOTHER poverty class in america.

No it is not good for the economy. It has driven wages to an all time low. Taxes are at a high. You are paying for the illegals to invade your country. Now isn't that nice of you. You are paying for their children to be born here. I think they need to get rid of the anchor baby law.

It depends who's immigrating. If it's millions of intelligent, well-educated people, then it's GREAT for the country. If it's the indigent, then it's not the best.
