I actually dig on the idea of a nice dinner someplace kinda nice on you. In celebration of his birthday. That way there is no pressure that maybe you didn't quite judge what he likes quite right or he already had it and you didn't know. Plus it is more early dating kinda thing. Maybe even dress up for him and surprise him with where you are going just for some extra flare. (I wouldn't tell the restaraunt its his birthday unless he wants to when you get there - for fear you go to one of those places where all the employees gather and sing some wierd birthday related song loudly and badly.)

I think that a nice card and maybe dinner at a nice but not too fancy of a restaurant and a movie would be a good way to show that you are very caring that it is his birthday without going over the top.

I think the nice quiet dinner is the right thing to do for starters, as men really appreciate things like that (I know I do) and it is the thought that counts. If not that, maybe a CD of some music he likes, and a nice card to go along with it. Good Luck and have fun.

I think a dinner is a nice touch, find out where he likes to go to eat. To make it nice, even a small gift, even if its cheap, find out what he likes, or if he needs something new. Letting him know you care enough to take the time to get the details right will make a lasting impression. Just don't try and overdo it. Good luck.

ok never take a guy out to eat and pay, he feels like he has no control, know what i mean...so buy him a gift (a month is long enough for gifts) so for the gift, nothing girly and never buy a shirt! A gift card would do, so he knows how much money you spent (so he will buy u somthin in that range), Well GOOD LUCK

The dinner sounds fine, or you can get him a CD or two from artists he likes. Get him gift certificates to places that he has expressed intrest in. If he likes a certain brand of clothes, get him a gift certificate to that store.

You can never go wrong with gift cards. Especially if its the first time you are buying a gift. Its practical(which ALL men love) and there is NO way you can get the wrong gift.

Well the dinner would be very nice.
Or maybe something like the first movie you two saw together and get it on d.v.d for him but I think whatever you get him he'll like alot because it's from you.
