I asked where the best fishing spot was in Arizona or anywere in the US and I didn't get 1 answer! Anyone have any ideas today? My boyfriend and I love camping and fishing but haven't had any luck on any of our trips yet this year.

Noah-jw ~ I've actually been to Lake Of The Woods too! The resort was awesome. We had a beautiful huge cabin at the very top. I give the place 5 stars, but still, no fish! ;)

I would try trout fishing anywhere in the Rockies. In the summer the water in streams is plentiful, weather is moderate and the fish will be biting. The Rio Grande river that runs through parts of Colorado and New Mexico has some great spots. Also try rivers in Wyoming, Montana and northern Colorado. If you’re looking for bass fishing check out Lake Fork just east of Dallas in Texas. It is know for it large fish. Saltwater fishing along the Atlantic and Gulf coasts is usually pretty good in the summer. Charter boats will take you out for a price, but you can probably do just as well fishing from a jetty or pier. I would look along Florida’s panhandle and the Texas coast. Google any of these areas and you will find tons of info. Hope this helps.

I've been fishing in a couple states, and I would have to say that Kentucky is the best, pretty much any lake you go to is good but
Kentucky Lake, Lake Barkley and Cumberland Lake have the best fishing. If you like rivers I suggest Green River Salt River or Rolling Fork River for Bass and Catfishing. I'm not just saying this because I live in Ky, it really is the best fishing.

Lake Powell is a great fishing spot in the colder months. Lots of striped bass. If you want to come up to Utah there is Flaming Gorge or Strawberry Reservoir; not to mention the Green River. A little cooler up here now makes the fishing good. Good luck.

The Great Lakes in the upper Peninsula of Michigan have good fishing and even better camping. I reccomend Lake Superior near Munising and Marquette MI
