you have to stop loving her.in that case you can be just as a friend with her.

Hi,
The friend question is a bit sticky. That really depends on what you want from her. Ask yourself if you really want to be friends or do you really want a second chance at hooking up with her. If you really want to be friends, just drop the whole idea of ever hooking up, because once you have been branded a "friend," theres no going back.

If you want a second chance at hooking up with her, you must show discipline and determination. It is always harder to get the job done once you have been rejected once before. In order to even give yourself a shot, you need to show her how her rejection can't phase you. That you will move on with life and be the man that you are. All the while you will ignore her, but make an effort to show her what progress you are making.

Humans are interesting creatures... We always want what we can't have. We always want back what we have lost. Keep this in mind. We can't make other love us, but we can make them interested and infatuated with us.

Ultimately you have to do what makes you feel comfortable. Rejection is hard enough to deal with sometimes without having to remain around the one who rejected you and attempt to be friends. If you're ok with being friends, and if you think you can get over the idea of possibly seeing her date someone else and still remain friends, then do it. Be the bigger person , as it were. But there's no shame in admitting that it'd be hard on your emotions to try to remain friends with someone who rejected your offer of more - it's simply human nature to feel that way.

Just remember that there is a difference between being "friends" and being "friendly". You don't necessarily need to remain "friends", but you should most certainly remain friendly and civil to this girl. And who knows? She may come around eventually, and you being friendly and civl may help facilitate that!

Good luck!

If I were the girl I wouldn't have problem in talking to a person who feels something for me! If I were you - probably - it would take me some time to "face" this situation, but then (I think) I wouldn't mind it!

I would still be her friend every girl understands what its like when something like that happens. Just make her laugh be funny and nice and she might change her mind.

I think you should, maybe someday you can work things out, if she sees your a great friend, maybe she'll feel different, and as you said, it woulnt hurt you, you can only gain from this.

You can still be her friend. You must be crazy about this girl, judging by your other questions.

definetly be her friend. i mean she doesn't like you like you, but if you really like her, you want to be around her as much as possible...right? it's better to be friends than being awkward around eachother. good luck!
