where do you live that minimum wage is that low? wow good luck

It probably won't change legallly for a while, but in some areas, the companies themselves are paying more than minimum wage for employees. Some cities even pay $9 to start. Where I live in Wyoming, the minimum to work at a fast food restaurant is $7.50 - $7.75.

Minimum wage is not meant to live off of. It's a starting line. If you don't like how much you make then do something about it. Work your *** off and go for a manager. Get a student loan, go to school and get a job that pays better.

And the vast majority of people make well above that number, so the actual value of the minimum wage is pretty meaningless.

If you raise the minimum wage for workers it is really useless because products and services must raise their prices to compensate for this high wage. So the raise is useless. Just work harder and try to advance in your job.

In Louisiana our reps denied the minimum wage for workers,yet our state workers get theirs,strange huh?? So ur guess is as good as mine!! lol
