Unless you had a transplant like I did, than it means you have three kidneys. I have three kidneys--one transplant, two native to the body. Only thing is two don't work. A human being can get along fine with one good working kidney. If you have 3, so much the better as long as they're all working.

Next time you talk to the medical person who told you this ask him if all 3 are normal size and working. As long as you've got good kidney function it's not a big deal (good would be 2 are normal sized and working). I've heard of people having this before.
