well, I had the same experience when I was in junior high school. I dumped the BF but still love him very much. I met him a couple months ago. He is now a hottie and all my friends form junior school have been talking about him and wanna go out with him.
My advice to you : listen to your heart. But remember if u dump him just because he's uncool and everyone hate him. It's not fair for him, rite ?

Are you serious? Firstly, you need to listen to your self, and grow up some. Secondly learn NOW to not listen to what others say or think about you. Its your life, your actions, and your consequences. Life is just a box of experiences, do what you want to do, as long as your in no harm to yourself or others. Besides if he's that bad of a person, you will find out soon enough. So for now, tell people how great he is with you, and that they don't sound like their even talking about the same fun guy you started to like on a whim.

You just answered your own question. The fact that you said cause you love him so much, should be your deciding factor. Forget what everyone else thinks. If they think he's such a loser and blah blah blah, it just means they're jealous. And remember everyone that picks on the losers regret's it in the end, because the loser's make a better life for themselves for the most part. If he makes you happy, be with him, try to ignore your friends, cause it's non of their business. If you end up having just him as a friend, then you'll know who you're true friends are.

I can't believe so many people are saying "listen to your heart". Every time any of my friends has had objections to a man I was interested in, it was because he was a huge slime ball. I think you need to figure out why your friends object to him. Has he done some things that are shady? Is he treating you badly? If there is no validity to what people are saying about him, then don't listen. But nine times out of ten, people do not attack innocent guys with empty accusations.

I think you should continue to see him cause you love him so much. You shouldn't dump him just because your friends don't like him. I think if they can't accept him and you as a couple then you really can't consider them a friend cause if they are then they will accept him and you for what ya'll are and that is a couple now. Just continue to go out with him and if they don't accept him then you are better off not calling them friends at all.

Every ones my friend unless they prove themselves otherwise, sure listen to reason, proceed with caution, but don't let anyone make the decision for you...it sounds like the both of you hit it off, I hear nothing that you have complained about except everyone else is questioning his character....you say you love him...just don't be blind to making the right choices...listen to your heart ...good luck.

trust me,middle school is not that important.i know that sound silly but it's true it's not important at all. Should you dumb him?it all depends if you're a prep or any other type.If you're a prep than yes you should think about your reputation if not who cares? If you like him than tell em to act differently so people won't think that he's dunb. Why does he even have such a bad reputation?

It is your life...don't let your friends run it, girlfriend, who give a rats *ss about a bunch of friends who cannot see past their own petty grudges and views.
Get new friends if necessary
If you and the guy like each other, take things slow and be happy.

If you're asking this question, then you probably don't love him. You might like him a lot, but you don't love him. (At least not yet.) You have to decide if it's worth dating him. Which is more important to you? Your reputation, or your guy?
