There is no quick way, if your native language is English, there is no quick way you will pick it up since English and Spanish are not in the same family tree of laguages as is Italian, and French.

I would do some advertizing if I lied and named programs and such which i don't believe in.

However, the best way is, watch Spanish TV Channels such as Univision, TV Azteca, and Telefutura. I do not recomend Telemundo for anything but news since their programs usually have a different sounding Spanish, so it would not help on your phonics.

Another excellent thing is to watch Spanish movies subtitled in English.

And yes take clases, however, I never found those to be any good, they will only confuse you since the difference is striking.

When I was going vacation to a Spanish speaking country I went to library and took out tapes and Cd's that teach you speak the language. I played them in my car, when I went to gym and any time I was waiting around. While I wasn't fluent, because I didn't invest enough time because I intend to be, I knew enough to get by and to haggle with the merchants at the markets.

I know that there are some really good language learning systems and schools out there. Google or do a Yahoo search for them.

Here's 2 websites for you:
myspansihcoach.com
rocketspanish.com

But first of all, Find a good online translator... such as.

Watch more Spanish Telenovelas & learn to mimic the words phonetically. Spanish isn't really that hard to pick up as it's derived from Latin which includes English, French, Italian.

the best way to learn any language is total immersion. Living in a country or culture where you have no option but to learn the language is the fastest way.
