I went to get a card for my dad yesterday and all the cards said stuff like...Thanks for the encouragement..and I cherish our memories..blah blah blah. I don't mind fibbing a little..but those cards would be flatout lies for me. Where can I find a card that says....Happy Father's Day Dad..thanks for being drunk and horny and taking it out on mom!

My Da was a philandering, mean, worthless male.
He apologized a few yrs. ago blahblahblah,
but I had like 30 yrs. of not ever being able to find any type of card for him that didn't just say, "I hate you for what you did to mom", so I bought a blank card and put my feelings in that. I would just say something like, "Love you Dad", and even that was a lie, but it was the best I could do. That's all changed now though. All better.

Well if he hadn't been drunk and horny, you might not be here, and that would be a loss. However, it sounds like your father was not Ward Cleaver. He was my favorite sitcom father. I am not in your shoes. If I was, those high heels would be killing me, and it would be an episode for the Jerry Springer Show. Perhaps, this once, you could look beyond his Everest sized flaws and have your kids make him a card that you could sign. I always have my kids make a card for their mother(If we just knew who she was), even though they are 28 years old (twins, actually 9). Hand- made cards are always more appreciated. Your father probably already knows what you think of him, perhaps it is time for the thawing to begin.

Don't you know that Dad's like nothing better than a homemade card from their sweet little girl. Check the scrap book stickers section and you can find some very inappropriate stickers that get the point across quite well.

It isn't Father's Day, silly. It's Reckoning Day. It doesn't matter what the card says because you will be smothering it with glue before you put it in the envelope. He'll spend hours trying to get it out and get so angry he'll take it out on his 19th girlfriend for the week. You know- the one that actually deserves it the most because she's younger than you, trying to be your mother, giving you obsolete fashion tips, twisting herself in a pretzel saying "you guys should try it this way"...

what you need to do is get one of those cards from those shops that sell LAST years cards for 3 for a dollar and get one that is blank and write it in yourself.
that's the best deal and the best way to get your point across, and if you really want to be a pain..talk to your post man and ask how you can get your dad to go to the post office to pick the card up and pay for the postage...
that is a good one..he has to drive there, wait in line to give the slip, they ask him for money, they stamp it and hand him his card, that's says thanks for being a drunk..
do this one
and smile
good Luck

You can make your own either the old fashion way with paper and scissors (don't send the scissors) or you can get computer software that lets you make your own cards.
