Indeed it does. Unfortunately, your degree of control is rather limited.

I think you have poluted your mind with New Age dogma. You are not at one with the universe you are not the universe. You are just a very small finite human being in this giant cosmos of a universe, just like me. There is but one God His names are: YHWH(Yahweh, [God's special or proper name] ), Elohim( God), Adonai(God is Lord), Aba(Father)> God is a trinity not 3 gods. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. This sounds confussing, but you could be a father, a brother, and a son at the same time can't you? God has many names. He calls himself "I AM" (or I exist ). Jesus also called Himself "I AM" in the New Testament.

The Arribic word for God is Allah, HOWEVER- The Muslim view of God is a very different one from Christians and Jews. So therefore Allah and God are not the same, contrary to the popular belief.

The New Agers believe that everyone and everything is "god". At one with the universe. Guess what....

There is but one God,and His name is YHWH. He created the universe and everything in it, Including you. No you are not god and you never will be, no one will. You are the creation not the Creator. God controlls the universe, not random events and not you. My life is not in anyones hands, but in God's, because He is my Father and I am His child.

You can control your own universe, not THE universe. In some ways they are the same, but when it comes to control, they are not.

If you are one with the universe you can understand everything it tells you. But since you occupy only about 40 cubic feet of space and the universe is always expanding with infinite space it is superb to you and you can not control it. You can listen to it and find it's hidden secrets but you must become the bigger dog in the house and learn to override it should you wish to change it.

You can control your universe and the experiences that you have. It's the universal law of attraction. It's not quite as simple as it sounds though. And it works both ways. Put out negativity, get negativity, put out positivity, get positivity.

Since you are one WITH the universe, you a 'part' of the universe, as are we all.
We each have the power to control 'our own' world, but how many truely excercise it...?

Being one with the motion of the Universe, which changes second to second is what many strive for, but in control of that universe???...no, as that control is to He who created it...and brought it into being...God.

Being part of the set of all existant things does not make you the set of all existant things. You cannot be both A and not A. Your second premise is not logically sound. Any answer that doesn't contain "no" is invalid.
