I don't know for certain but for me he/she/it is a force that created the universe and resides in us as part of us that shows through in profound moments of humanity, love, forgiveness, curiosity and hope like I said its how I view "God". I also believe no religion can know all the truths of God nor any individual live or dead.

Anyone who can answer this with certainty is being dishonest, both with you and with themselves. To begin with, ask yourself how did the universe come into existence? Many say God created the universe. Okay then, who created God? Who created the creator of God? Suddenly, you realize that there are just some things that the mortal mind cannot figure out. Is there something larger than humanity? Yes. What is it exactly? Only the fearful and the foolish will say that they know for certain.

What I understand about God is that He loves each and every one of us and wants us to do right to Him and each other. He wants us to do what He says in His word, because (like any good parent) He knows what is best for us. The God I serve is in the blessing people business, not the cursing people business. I know that I could never fully comprehend His ways or reasons because I don't have the big picture, but knowing He loves me and wants to bless me is enough as far as I am concerned.

I'm not sure how many gods there are, what gods/god there are, or who they are. All I know is that there is a power larger than our understanding. How do I know? You can keep asking questions, and science will always have an answer, except for one question... Why?

He is the all powerful and all knowing Creator of the Universe.

To seperate my God from the Jewish version of God my God is just and punishes evil.

To seperate my God from the Islamic version of God my God is loving and wants to forgive us.

So my God is both and equally loving and just. He is the only one fit to rule the Universe. The Lord God Almighty is his name.

God is the accmumlation of all knowledge and the universe in a whole.

Since we all hold knowledge, once brought together we will form the first part of God, then once we've realized we're one iwth the universe we'll realize that God was man-made.

God is Almighty... Nobody can ever understand His powers. He is the beginning and the end. You'll never be anything without Him. He gave His only Son so we can be saved by His grace and go to Heaven. He's my Savior

I designed a higher power for myself. It doesn't really fit into any organized religion but it works for me. My organized religion stopped fulfilling my spiritual needs, so I created my own definition. My god I call great spirit, or just spirit. I believe it is my true potential. I believe it lies within me and I just have to be powerful enough to tap in to it. I believe that pieces of that same spirit lie within each and every person.. When I pray I look down, to my heart, not to the heavens. I believe that the spirit is the goodness and light that is within all of us. I know that I have found myself leading a very difficult climb, feet above my last piece, and my leg starts to shake uncontrollably. I always find my spirit there. I pray, and I pull through. It was within me all the time. When I am struggling in life with physical or emotional pain I do the same thing. I look down to my heart and I pray for the strength that is within to be released. My spirit is patient and non judgmental, not punishing. I believe that when I die that spirit remains and joins another body. We are all brothers and sisters this way. It is a beautiful way to think of the world. Next time you are struggling with road rage and cursing the old lady in front of you think of your spiritual connection, she is your sister. Doesn't that change your anger? That is a true higher spirit.
