Please help me, I am going to make waffles at 2 o clock'. Is safe to put chunky peanut butter in some waffle batter and put it in a waffle iron, would it make the waffle hard to get out of the iron?

I just replace the oil in the waffle recipe with peanut butter. It helps to warm it in the microwave for 5-10 seconds or so, because it mixes better warm. Don't go over 20 sec or the peanut butter will begin to crystalize. (I know from experience. 8-) )

If your plates are clean, getting the waffles out is no problem.

Does your waffle batter have oil in it? Peanut Butter has a high fat content, so you want to reduce the oil if it does. It will not be hard to get out of the iron as peanut butter has oil in it. Sounds tasty, instead of maple syrup are you going to put jelly on them:)

I think creamy p.b. would work better. The peanuts might stick to the waffle maker.
