Yes, It can. Depending where you are flying to, he might have to make special arrangements as well as pay a little extra to have you watched over while traveling on a plane. It's called un-acompanied minor traveling. My kids both teenagers have flown in the US as well as international without adult supervision. Worked fine. You as a kid though have to be super careful not to talk to any strangers, or go with anyone BUT the assigned flight attendance. Do carry a cell phone with you.

Yes, all he needs to do is put your name on the ticket when he buys it and there is a spot to indicate if the person travelling is under 18

yes, u can buy a plane ticket and ride alone, i've done it several times and I'm under 16

well im sure he can but when he oreders the ticket he needs to state who its for etc , another thing call the air line and make sure he can purchase a ticket for someone else through another agencey good luck and injoy your summer
