As a Christian I think science is great! As a matter of fact the Church has always been in support of science, then again I'm not a fundamentalist Christian who believes in Sola Scriptura.

I paid attention in science class, even though math was more my thing!

How would I define science? I would just do a wikipedia search to make sure I was accurate as possible, not to mention a good dictionary.

Science to me is working out and finding conclusions, with the knowledge man has, what is already obvious to the God who created it all. Science is actually a conformation of the existance of God when taken in its totality. The problem is man will set himself up as a little god and leave God out of the equasion.

Science deals with knowledge based on experimentation that is reproducible by others. Modern scientific theories should be open to scrutiny as well. Science is not having faith in something and then finding facts to stonewall it. It is letting the evidence speak for itself. I know we all have faith in many different things and we all have our biases- that's why it's important for others to look at our data & experiments and scrutinize.

This is why I have trouble believing in evolution. It's not open to scrutiny in our society, it is not backed by reproducible experimentation, its proponents look for facts to support their religion of evolution, and it is assumed to be "true" regardless of the evidence.
