My friend and I are both Roman Catholic. She said that there is going to be a world war 3, and we are going to be in concentration camps this time. I don't know about all of you, but I think this is bad. Can anybody tell me why it is going to be us?

I think your friend is being a little fatalistic. The truth is, that the Roman Catholic faith, if it ever were put in a concentration camp, would be because it has been a huge presence in the world forever. There are many theories that the Holy Roman Catholic Church is/will be the source of the anti-Christ. But as long as World War III hasn't begun, I don't think you really have anything to worry about.

First, you should realize (if you don't already) that what your friend says is not anything that the Catholic Church officially believes.

Church teaching is silent on the question of whether or not Christians (or anybody else) will be put in concentration camps when (and if) World War III ever happens.

She's certainly free to believe these things, of course, but such beliefs are no part of Catholic teaching. She's thinking on her own there.

Actually there is going to be a World War 3. Most people don't know it except for the righteous ones.

Now look at Rev.17:5; this is the image of the beast. You can read the headline: "Pope's dream of healing Christian rift still a distant glimmer" in Enterprise Record dated: Sunday June 12, 2005.

Now what the pope is going to do is this: he will set a worldwide event of church and state. That means that he will force everyone to follow the Catholic Teachings; if they refuse they will be persecuted(Rev.13:15). This is the religious persecution you have heard about.
Now we know the Catholic Church has "tried to change God's Law"(Dan.7:25) as "casted all the truth to the ground"--Dan.8:12.
Most people are following the Mediaeval Church today(Rev.17:5).
God warns his people in Rev.18:4 "Come out of her, my people that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye not receive her plagues."

In the coming prophecies, you will see Rev.17:12-13 come alive in Nebuchadnezzar's Dream in Daniel 2. These will be 10 national rulers giving their support to a coming union of church and state in Europe, which will aspire to world dominance. After an interlude of apparent peace and prosperity, this system will plunge the whole world into a nightmare (World War 3). That's why Jesus has to come back, he has to save the world from total destruction. Matt.24:21,22,29,30; Rev.17:14.

Nobody said anything about putting Roman Catholics in concentration camps. That's just weird. I have never heard any such thing. I wouldn't worry about that. I would worry about war, though. Many people (and I tend to side with them) believe that World War 3 will eventually come and that it will be the last war mankind will fight. Then Christ will return and reign on Earth and judge us all.

Albert Einstein said it best when he said "I do not know what weapons with which World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." No major world power would be willing to justify their own safety to use these weapons.

Deterrence is the only purpose for which they are widely used today. I would not put it past the radical islamic goverment of Iran to use a nuclear weapon if they ever got one on Israel though, and that would mark World War III and the beginning of the end.

first of all, when it comes to the things of God you cannot believe everything that everyone tells you!!!
If you are truly concerned about the things of God it is imperitive that you deal with the most important issue you will have have to confront. What will you do with Jesus Christ? We are not talking about keeping the commandments or sacraments we are talking about the precious Lamb of God. Was there ever a time in your life that you asked Jesus Christ to be your Savior because you realized that you were a sinner, condemned without God and there was nothing but His precious blood that could purchase your redemption. Not good works, not indulgences, not rosaries, not novenas, not three hail mary's and five our fathers, not water baptism, not your church but only the precious Blood of Jesus Christ washes white as snow.
