I am 19 yrs old and I have never had a serious relationship with anyone. This will be the first time i will tell my parents about a boyfriend that i really care about.

You are old enough to be on your own ....they are your parents and will always love you...so they may be mad at first but trust me they will get over it....they always do sometime!...they cant stay mad at you forever.... It your life now and they cant control there little girl forever!

I'm 19 too and this is my 1st boyfriend...my parent's [my mom mostly] were really over-protective...but i think it's good that we are just having our first relationship now...because we "know" ourselves and we know how to be single...like i know some girls who have been in relationships since the 5th grade and they don't really know themselves....
anyways...yeah...it was really weird telling my parents...at first i didn't say anything and they just assumed he was a friend...but yeah
