You need to deep condition your hair or even better (i did it last night) poor a few table spoons of Olive Oil in a cup and warm it up for like 45 seconds in the microwave and spread it in your hair. Put a warm damp towel around your head for as long as you would like. Shampoo a few times to make sure it is all gone out of your hair.

You should go to the salon and ask them to cut the split ends put something in your hair to strengthen it and don't color it. you can straiten out with andis multi heat ceramic curlers. If you turn it down low I'm sure your hair won't be damaged it works for me and I have thin hair so my stuff used to get damaged a lot but not no more since I've did what I'm telling you to do now. try it and if it doesn't work then just go to the salon and get some more help.

first of all the best thing to do is have your hair trimmed to cut off the damaged hair. secondly, you should try a heavy cream conditioner once or twice a week. I suggest Redkins All Soft hair cream. It will run you about $12.00 a tube but well worth it and it will last for months

go to the salon and have them re-hydrate your hair or do some kind of treatment in which this is possible, because it is... i've done it. then, cut your hair or the tips so that it is healthy again, having healthy tips is very important for your hair to look good and be healthy. then, whenever you re-color or whenever you are going to straighten it, spray it with some form of hydrating product with nutrients, they exist... the one i use is made by L'oreal.
hope this helped

Do you blow dry your hair til its completely dry? every time you take a shower do you blow dry your hair?
When you blow dry your hair it gets warn out and damaged.
Straighting it can cause damage to if you straighten it to much.
And coloring your hair doesn't do that much damage but if you get it colored every 6 months your fine but every couple months not good.
So stop coloring your hair for a while and wash it but let it air dry and straiten it every other day and see how that goes.

Get rehydrating conditioner and put the iron away for a while till your hair strengthens. The iron kills your hair. Try blow drying!
