It's more an issue of what foods to avoid that may be in your current diet...
Cut back on nuts and chocolate.
Eliminate as many "processed" foods as possible. (Cheese is OK, but not cheeze-in-a-can).
Stress is a major cause too, but you already know about that.

reduce your fat, sugar, and salt. antioxidants are the best thing for healing your skin. (found mainly in berries, especially blueberries, and in dark chocolate.) fruits and veggies will give you vitamins without many toxins. and drink plenty of water.
also, rinse your face with a gentle cleanser day and night. some say honey helps (putting it on the acne) but my skin is sensitive and honey makes my face more red.
by the way, you might want to look into birth control pills. they regulate your hormones and make your periods lighter, while reducing acne!

the best advice is to wash your face regularly, but not too often (it will dry out, causing more irritation).
you might try a soap specifically for your face morning and night, and also use a medicated lotion, especially on the troubled areas.
there is no link between the food you eat and your acne.
