There isn't a one-size-fits-all answer to your question. Sometimes, it might mean that the guy in insecure and needy. Other times it might mean exactly what it should-he loves you. Time will tell.

Well, he could actually love you! But it has only been three weeks.If he's being sincere, and he isn't using the phrase casually, then he probably feels the closest thing he's ever felt to love. When he tells you he loves you, ask him why. if he talks mostly about your physical appearance or your physical attraction towards one another, then he loves you lustfully. Don't worry if this is true! It's quite normal for a man to only lust for you in the beginning of a relationship. He hasn't had enough time to get to know you. Eventually, he'll learn more about you and be able to truthfully say he loves you (and lusts for you!).

He may really love you. My husband told me that he loved me within the first week of dating. I didn't respond that I loved him too because I didn't yet, but I liked him a lot and had fun with him, so I stayed in the relationship and ended up falling for him a bit later. Just because you don't bboth fall in love with each other at the same time doesn't mean that it won't happen later. You might be a little freaked out by it, but if you feel like you could love him in time, or you just really like him then stay with it. But don't tell him you love him too if you don't.

It means he doesn't know what love is. He only thinks he loves you. What you should do is tell him that he's moving too quick to call it love. When you're jumping into something like saying I love you to someone after 3 weeks things will die quickly in that relationship. Some things just can't be said right away.

well when a guy tells a girl he loves her early like that i dont believe he believes he truly loves her but he loves a part of you maybe the way you smile, maybe some things you doing that no girl has done he likes that about you and choosing the word love because some guys really never experienced love and there definition of it is the only version they have seen through their eyes so does he love you, well his perception of love might be you just think about it

moving way too fast. You should avoid the "love yous" for at least 6 months. Did you know that form a US nationwide survey, it takes a least one year to really get to know a person inside and out. So tell him to slow down.,

Depending on his age and level of maturity it could mean he loves you or that he lusts you. So before you do anything with this guy make sure he's for real and that you feel the same way.

there's a very slim (tiny really) chance that he may be telling the truth. however, chances are he's just lying to get laid quicker or to get money, promotion etc......whatever he wants from you.
don't believe him unless there's absolutely NO DOUBT that he means it.
