if you install the windows vista beta2 on a system,can you use your bt broadband router installation disk,allthough its only meant for 98,me,200,xp
is it possible to get a driver to run bt broadband under vista,or will i have to wait for bt to produce their own

I have never heard of ANY type of broadband having a Windows requirement. If Im wrong, I will edit this...but I dont think broadband only works with certain broadband providers. Broadband should work with any windows environment since its just a link from their ISP to your computer using a USB port or an ethernet. Softwares have requirements, but I really doubt broadband has Windows requirements.

You wont harm your computer if you cant install it, but I would go ahead and try it because if there are problems, then a popup will appear before you even get to install it. I really doubt you will encounter any issues with it though.

Most routers are configured via a webpage, your Windows version doesn't matter. If you have a broadband modem it might need a driver. Don't install a beta if you can't afford for some parts not to work.
