school and he is going back this august, we're gettin really close and im starting to really liekhim. should i take this any further, as in go out with him?

why dont you test the waters . Go out on a date and see where it could lead you. Of course, if he is going back this august and you two will be far away and decided to have a relationship. You two have to really trust each other strongly. Good Luck

Yes! If you really like him, go for it. You can't assume that he's going to fall back in love with his ex the second he sees her. (That stuff usually happens in movies, not real life.) I know ex girlfriends are scary, but you have to trust him. Tell him how you feel about him and find out how he feels. If you end up dating, he'll be thinking about you the whole time he's there!

i do not see why not but just carefully because if this is going to be a distance relationship it may be hard but i wouldn't worry about that old girl friend. It just distance relationships are hard so that is something to think about if you think you can handle it then i would go for it.
