I know some other people who had problems with their hair during pregnancy. My one girlfriend said she couldn't get perms during pregnancy...they did nothing for her. I think you should leave the glues alone. They will only make matters worse.

Perhaps you need a rest from the chemicals. Have you considered going natural? I have been natural for two years now...I love it! I got sisterlocks...check out their website. sisterlocks.com They have pictures of sisters with locs with all different textures of hair. Your hair will grow long, you can still wear curled styles and because of the tiny locks they are very versatile. Check it out!

If you don't want to go natural just take a little break from the chemicals...keep your hair moisturized and clean maybe find someone who won't braid toooo tight (cuz that can be bad too).

OK Good Luck...Peace

Pleasee...Pleasse Listen carefully....The glue is bad for you....Latex is not meant to be used in African american hair....it causes more bald spots and tears the hair from the root....Your best bet is to do a lil bit more research on what products that you can use...Natural essential oils...has been growing hair for years...DO NOT use Petroleum...Lanolin...or any kind of waxy product...You might want to start either a weave or braid regime...and wash your hair properly..;use oils...and get some growth out of that....Check out this forum...these ladies have growth challenges...and they can help with what products you should choose....if you need help....email....me

stop using weave! I know you might hate short hair, but you have to start from somewhere. Use the DOO Grow line of products and a protien treatment, they really work well. Stay away from too many chemicals, meaning no hair dye. Doing perms about every two months is okay, but be sure to keep your ends cut at least every month.....You'll be surprised at your results.

Start off a good diet with plenty of protein and then your hair needs some mending. Try a good quality brand I prefer Paul Mitchell and a leave it treatment would do wonders for your hair. Pregnancy is very hard on your hair, the baby takes a lot out of you, now you need to replenish your body and take good care of it.

Eat healthier, use good product on your hair, do not wear weave, unless it is professionally done. Also, wigs aren't eh best either, because its like wearing a hat everyday, your scalp won't a bale to breath and it needs to be healthy. Try to keep as much heat off of it as possible. Consult someone professionally.

Stay away from the hair glue..that will pull your hair out...you might not want to hear this, but you may need to get it cut and just start over.
