Baltimore has one of the finest railroad museums in the nation complete with 10-15 full size cars and locomotives. There is also an aqaurium and science center at the inner harbour. Ft McHenry (star spangled banner fame) is also located in the harbor. They also have a WWII submarine, the Torsk, open for tours.

As a local living about 25 minutes outside of Baltimore...there's the Science Center,National Aquarium... they just opened the Australian exhibit..quite large...,Fireman's Museum,B & O Railroad Museum....Inner Harbor for boat rides and paddle boats,ESPN Zone,Hard Rock cafe, Camden Yards,and Fort McHenry for a history lesson and then of course there's weekend events in the city and other counties not far away

If your kids are old enough, take them to an Orioles game. It's probably the most beautiful park in the league.

The children's museum is awesome!!! It is one of the best children's museums I've been to. Also the aquarium is very nice!
