No. Who cares. I think it makes him more relatable to a lot of people. He was human as well as divine.

Ummmm, are you talking about Mary his mother, or Mary Magdelene? Cuz one would be incest, and the other did not happen. If you're referring to the movie Da Vinci Code, the author admitted it was a fictional book. The Bible never lies, and it made clear Jesus was never married or had kids, because that would make the child also divine, and it was the God head three in one, not four in one.

The book was a novel. Good history is refreshingly un-self-serving, circumspect, and understated. Real history is astonishing, a delight. History carries us toward and understanding of how the world is rather than how we might wish it to be. It was a great story what is sad that so many people get their information in the fiction section and call what they believe FACT. We are all entitled to our opinions but we are not entitled to our own facts.
"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come... men and women shall be ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth" (2 Timothy 3:1,7)

No, it would not, but it's a moot point anyway because there's no evidence -- unless we count Dan Brown's imagination as "evidence" -- that Jesus ever married Mary Magdalene or anyone else.
Besides the four canonized Gospels, there are dozens of ancient works that give details of Jesus' life and earthly ministry. In none of them is it ever mentioned that He had a wife.

If he did i wouldnt
I am a christian and believe everything in the bible
I am mad that so many people DONT believe and they are all gonna go to hell becuase they say its all fake! but what DO you belive if not in God? you were always there and you'll just die?
To many un-answered questions even with religion but I am not i ashamed that I do and will always love and trust God! It makes you feel better to know and love your creator because he IS there wether you chose to accept that or not because there is proof
HIS CREATION!!
we take his love and power forgranted because he gives you so much comfort yet many people deny it and push it away

Does that make his teachings any less true. I don't believe he was married, but did he ever say Do Not get married?

No, Marriage is not a sin, in fact we were commanded to be fruitful and multiply and Jesus was perfectly obedient, so it's not unreasonable to assume he was a husband and maybe even a father.

Nope. What he did in his personal life doesn't concern me. It's the philosophy & the truth that he gave us which changed my life. So I couldn't care less whether he married & had kids & had to pay alimony(eventually I hope!!!). I'll believe in him no matter what. I love you!!! Jesus rocks.

No, it wouldn't stop me from following, but I think a lot of people are upset because it challenges the whole validity of the Bible. Like if they didn't tell us that, then what else didn't they tell us, or what was fabricated, etc., etc.

Lots of people would stop, because if he did that, he wouldn't be honest any more, and if he wasn't honest, his words were just 'good ideas' and not capital-T Truth. But I think that was the whole point of TDVC. So please don't ask anybody to suppose things like this.
