The best way is to find a moment when hi is alone and try to talk to him about something trivial , (weather for example), then laught a bit and introduce yourself.
Then continue chatting for a very short period (about 3 to 4 minutes) unless the conversation really goes well.
Is VERY IMPORTANT that you are yourself all the time, DO NOT PRETEND.

I had the same problem two months ago if he shows no signs of intrest screw him. If is showwing an intrest then try and talk to him chances are the girl has to get his attention cuz boys love to hide how they feel. Good luck!!!!!

first i would try droping some thing right by his feet and if that doesn't work then in one of your classes together ( if you are in any of his classes ) an dsay you don't get the work that the teadher handed out and tell him you don't get how to do the work and if that doesn't work then try not wearing a bra or a padding bra that always works

Be a compleat Biatch! It works. act like you can't stand him. boys are like dogs. They can't keep themselves from chasing! If he thinks he can't have you, he'll HAVE to have you. Try it, you'll see. find ways to bump into him. and i mean literally bumping. it'll require some acting skills, but if u pull it off great, u might be rewarded.
oh... after the bump, BIG SMILES and try to be as sweet as u can. if u've got the confidence and he doesnt look like he's in a rush, strike up a conversation. "hey... u look familiar..."

why dont you just go up to him and talk to him? if you know anything about him or you guys have the same interests, of are in the same class or whatnot, talk about that. you cant expect someone to notice you. you have to actually talk to them.
