Are there people in the world (besides for religious reasons) that go through their entire lives being virgins? After a while do you just stop thinking about sex

This a strange question.
Besides religious purposes, I do not believe people wake up one day and says hey I will be a virgin my whole life.
I do however think it's the life people choose. Or what life has dealt them.
To be a little bit more clear as to human nature. We are a animal that requires contact with one another, weather or not it be Physically or mentally. We need this to be a healthy creature so to speak.
I think if someone chooses to not have sex I beleive that person has some issues. I'm not speaking of sex alone. Just human contact in general.
I think if someone is in love or is in a situation like this, it's our human nature to do this. It's programmed into our structure as humans.
Even Religious persons that swear of Sex for life , also thinks about it. They lying if they say no they don't.
People that choose this or even thinks about it has some sort of Mental or physical problems that needs to be resolved.
About "do they just stop thinking about it" I can not speak for that.
I know in some bad relationships it can stop or not have the urge to. Depends on the health of the individual. Physically or Mentally.
Insucurritys about one self can contribute to feelings like this.
Depression can also lead to this , thinking I am not worthy of love or being happy with someone, or it's not possiable to find someone.
But I am sure there has or is living still today that has never had sex, but I can say that if this is true, they have thought about it ot htere wouldn't be a choice in making this decission.

I used to be a Drug Addict/Alcoholic, then I wouldn't chase sex but if it 'fell into my lap' I'd take advantage of it. So I wasn't a virgin then. Since I got straight I think about & go after sex...

There are a few ppl i know ever had sex and they are 35 years and 46, they don't have a relationship. Or study about it cause they say it does not matter to them..

I do know a guy who is in his late 40's & claims he's never been on a date. He's says sex is nothing that's ever interested him.

Yes there are people like that. DO not worry about it. I have know many of them. Sex should not be your focus in Life, make life your focus.

As often as my wife gives it up I feel like a virgin whenever I get it! See, she makes me wait until she's ready and......oh sorry, I have to go it's that time and she is very ready........

I had heard the espression 'I would rather have a nice cup of coffee instead' and could not fully believe it. However, nowadays, I can safely say, 'I would rather have a nice cup of tea instead'. And I still love my wife after 38 years..................

i think most people loose thier virginity one way or another. the only people are probably the ones that are sadly mentally ill or without life in a coma probably. i dunno never thought about it
