Go to Your Mom, and tell Her that You are very sorry for what You said, You meant Her no harm, tell her that You were just trying to be funny, but that it did not come out the way You intended it. Tell Her that You love Her and respect Her very much, and never want to see Her hurt. If She is too upset, then wait a while and try again. Ask Her what You can do for Her to make up for this mistake, that You unintentionally made. If it really means that much to You, just keep talking calmly to Her, until the two of You can make up.
