I lived in a big city most of my life Oakland, CA and I survived. I prefer smaller cities, under 100,000, not in California(I am native born but the wackos own the state now), I loved Virginia and North Carolina. Oregon is okay and Washington state, the middle of America like Kansas, the Dakotas, Texas are nice areas.

Canada.

Canada is the world's second largest country by area, occupying most of the northern portion of North America.

I'm a citizen of the United States of America is tired of other 'Americans' assuming that the United States of America is the only America.

No insult to Canadians is intended.

I don't know about cities, but in violent crimes per 100,000 people in year 2005, South Dakota placed last place with about 84. The Alaska with about 102. Georgia got about 243, Florida got 320, but only because of Mama. Oklahoma was about 202.

The two worst places were New York with 567 and Washington D.C. with 1022.

Does that help you?

Welp, I live in CA...and thank god I've never been mugged or worse....though I have had my house broken into before.
But growing up in Danville, then Nevada City both in CA
nothing ever happened to any of me or my families belongings.
A very middle to upper class area. I'm now in Concord and my house was broken into when I was at the hospital (bummer)
Came home and they had even stole all my fingernail polishes...how hard up do you have to be?
Guess they needed something to give their girlfriend for an anniversary gift !! "Here hunny, I was thinking about you while a was stealin' stereos, Karaoke , jewelery, coins and ransackin' this chicks house. Brought yah 40 bottles of used polish!!!

Now there's a guy that I want to marry! (not!) LOL

Take care
where do you live?
Is it safe there?
