Find a swimming pool or a body of water hopefully with cold water and jump in! It will bring your subconscious back to the serenity of the womb. Guaranteed to make you feel better. Can you drive to a beach? That is the ultimate! Moods shift fast... you will get better and laugh again.

I don't know what you're going through so it's hard to say. When I'm really upset, I do a number of things. The best one is having a friend to talk to so you can vent. If it's something you don't want to talk about with anyone, then you could write about it in a journal or my favorite, take a long drive with the windows down and your radio up. Chocolate, tears, and a good movie also help. Good luck. Hope it works out. Just know things can't always be this bad and tomorrow will probably be better.

Take a deep breath. Think of all the positive things in your life, it may be hard but if you think deep enough you'll find something. It may be something as general as you are able to breathe, walk, feel, think, or wear clothes....when it comes down to it we are all very fortunate and we just don't realize it. Terrible things happen every single day to just about every single person...To be a strong person, step back and work on one thing that is falling apart at a time. Sometimes I make a list of all the bad things and try to make them positive...I wish you the best of luck...take a breath...it could be worse...<3 mandie

1.Do yoga to relax.

2.Watch your favorite movie and eat popcorn, nachos or chocolate.

3.Go to your favorite restaurant to enjoy one of your favorite meals.

4.Remember the worst problem you have had in your life and remember that you are not anymore suffering from that, so the new issue in your mind that makes you feel bad will sooner or later also disappear. Be patient, it just needs some time.

5.Remember, it is not the end of the world. Remember the poor and killed people every second over the globe. Your problem which makes you have a bad day is much better than sleeping with nothing in your stomach for days or seeing one of your parents killed in front of you, and wondering if tomorrow you will be able to see the sun or not.

Do something relaxing and things you like to do. Take a hot bath, read in the tub, listen to music, just close your eyes and envision a nice beach somewhere. Play a game, watch a funny movie, do things to take your mind off the bad things.

If you have cancer or a problem, you could be proactive with it too, like join a support group, research your illness, and/or write down negative and positive things and what you can do about them.

What do you like to do? Take a walk. Eat candy and watch a cheesy show or movie.
Cry and then get over it by doing something you like.

Get on the computer and answer some questions.

When I was recently going through chemo, I would spend hours at a time on www.pogo.com, a great website full of tons of games. You meet some of the nicest people, a lot who have been through or know someone who's been through the whole cancer ordeal.

I know this might sound dumb, but when I get stressed at work or home I sit down at my desk or at a table and try to balance a penny on it's edge. It can be done but your nerves have to be still. I get so focused on balancing the damn thing that I forget about whatever was stressing me out. Try it!

Music it always helps. Wether it is hard core or music to make you cry, sometimes everyone needs a good cry or time to let anger out. Good Luck and remember tomorrow is another day and it could always be worse.

Try a hot bubble bath, a bar of chocolate and maybe a good stiff drink?
