We need to understand that as christians, we are in a growth pattern. The process of growth on earth for us humans is a pattern to teach us about the pattern of growth in spiritual terms. Some grow faster than others and some stagnate for a while and then have a growth spurt. God is not going to put you into the field to win souls until you are ready for that. You dont want to push people away from God because you are too immature for that task and you dont want to blindly run around trying to win souls that the Holy Spirit hasnt moved you to approach. Once you are mature enough, if it is in His will, He will send you out.

Also, this may not be your calling, you may have another calling in which you will help save a few souls but only through the vocation He has chosen for you. It will be what makes you most happy so you needn't worry about that, but it may be that you only end up reaching only a few souls in your life.

Just remember, you are not the difference between salvation and eternal hell for someone. If someone needs ministered to, the Lord will see to it that it happens. So dont fear that souls are falling into hell because you aren't ready yet, the Lord is in control and He will be sure to send those into the field that need to be there for someone.

Read your Bible. To completely surrender to God you have to "cast all your cares upon him." Everything in your life you need to hand over to God. That means your job, your family, even your finances. Then ask him how he can use you each day when you pray. It may not be a clear answer and it may even happen at the grocery store when you run into an old friend. Just have a daily quiet time with him and he will show you the way. Start reading in Romans if you are a new Christian.

Sara. You are vessel that is ready to be used by God. Don't let you flesh stand in the way! Soul winning begins with asking a question and that is: If someone is 100% percent sure that they would go to heaven if the died right now. If they answer no then you can lead them into the sinner's prayer. Sometimes we don't ask people if they are saved because we afraid of what others may think or that we may be rejected but that is the flesh taking control. God wants to use you but have you allowed him to. It's not complicated. Continue to surrender to God and as the bible say: Delight yourself in the Lord and he will direct your path. As you surrender to God don't forget to ask him to reveal himself and show you his will for your life.

Becoming a Christian is the most incredible event that will ever take place in your life. You have found peace with your Creator. You have found everlasting life! Be assured--God will never leave you nor forsake you. He has brought you this far and He will complete the wonderful work He has begun in you. God knows your every thought, your every care and your deepest concerns.

Let's now look at some of those possible concerns. First, and of primary concern -- do you have "assurance" of your salvation? The Bible says to "make your calling and election sure" (2 Peter 1:10, italics added), so, let's go through a short "checklist" to make sure that you are truly saved:

Are you aware that God became flesh in the person of Jesus Christ (John 1:14, KJV), and that he died for the sins of the world?
Did you come to the Savior because you had sinned?
Did you "repent" and put your faith in Jesus?
Are you convinced that He suffered and died on the Cross and that He rose again on the third day?

God acquits us from the Courtroom of Eternal Justice on the grounds that Jesus Christ paid our fine. We are "justified" (made right with God) by His suffering death. The resurrection of Jesus Christ was God's seal of approval of the fact that His precious blood was sufficient to pay the fine.
Think of it this way... You have violated the law and face a $50,000 fine. You tell the judge that you are truly sorry for your crime, but he answers, "So you should be -- you have broken the law! Now, can you pay this fine?" He can only acquit you if the fine is paid. If someone else pays your fine, then he can let you go, but he must have "grounds" on which to release you.

The reason we need a substitute (a savior) to pay our moral "fine," is because we have broken God's Law. To see how much we have transgressed this Law (the Ten Commandments), we will go through some of them -- Have you ever told a lie? Have you ever stolen something? Have you ever lusted after another person? If you answered "Yes" to these questions, you admit that you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart, and you have to face God on Judgment Day! If you have used His name in vain, then you are guilty of "blasphemy" -- you've substituted God's holy Name for a curse word. Perhaps you've hated someone, then the Bible says that you are a murderer. You have violated God's holy Law, and you're in BIG trouble. On Judgment Day, you will be found guilty and end up in Hell. That's why you need the Savior. Merely being sorry for your sins, or confessing them to God won't help you. You must turn from sin (repent), and your faith must be in Jesus Christ alone. He is the only "grounds" for God to grant mercy towards you. If you're not sure of your salvation, make Psalm 51 your own prayer

Jesus said "unless you be converted and become as this little child you can in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven".
To be reborn is to start life all over in a new spiritual way of thinking. The Holy Spirit will guide you. Like children we first learn to talk the talk. We practice this by studying the word of God.
For a deeper relationship with God we go to church and fellowship with other believers.
As we grow in the spirit we learn to walk the walk. Some children grow faster than others. Some revert back to children.
"He that is faithful to the end, the same shall be saved".

Forget the dream, thats you not God. We are only human.

God doesn't ask us for much, and I don't recall of anywhere where He asks for our complete surrender (although I know some of his representatives do).

Live according to his word, pray often, be a witness by your life of what he means to you. When you goof up, which you will, repent and try again. Love God and your neighbour as yourself. Care for your family and your friends and those you don't know when the oportunity arises. If he wants something specific, he'll let you know, but he doesn't shout, you'll have to listen carefully.

Be a willing tool, and he will make the use of you that he sees fit. A Christian living their life in Christ is worth 100 TV Preachers.

How do you know it was a Christian God?

Who the Hell has brainwashed you? Christians only!
That's the problem with Christianity, You and Us.
Dont ever surrender to anyone. You have no say at all with Gods of any sort. It's already decide for you. Just do what you are told.
Never mind you will wake up.
Go and read http://thebaldchemist.blogspot.com before you do anything. Just so you know what to expect.
Take care

The first part of complete surrender, comes when you ask God to take anything out of your life that would hinder your relationship with Him. Then, there are several other steps. Daily devotions and prayer are another important step in the right direction. I will be praying that God will give you opportunities to share your faith with non-Christians and that you would be able to win souls for Jesus Christ!

First of all, "surrendering" oneself to God isn't a one-time thing. Anymore than you just breathe in once and out once, and you're done with it.

The bible tells us the flesh wars against the spirit, and the spirit wars against the flesh. To that end, surrendering our will to God is an ongoing, day by day, sometimes hourly thing. When life presents temptations, we have choices. The bible tells us we are never tempted, but that God gives us a way out. So, every moment of the day, we have choices to make. How do we surrender? We call upon His name, because the bible tells us, we can come before the throne of grace to obtain mercy.....because of Jesus Christ.

That is why it's so important to stay close in our relationship to our Lord. Prayer, study, fellowship, church, taking every thought captive to Christ, living and breathing, thinking of Him and His word......this is a surrendered life.

Some people seek God's "will" for their life thinking it will be something dramatic. Often, we are called to do something that may look ordinary, but is in fact very challenging: get up every day, go to a job that might not be very exciting...and show others His love, patience, kindness, meekness, mercy, forgiveness, self-sacrifice...day in, day out; day in, day out.

If you seek His will, talk to God, tell Him your every breath is His, that you desire to be His ambassador on earth, whatever that may look like. And then, wait on Him and live a life of service to others. Easy to do? No. The most fulfilling life anyone can ever have? Yes!!

God bless and keep you close to Him.

May be you have more to learn of yourself and Him first. Be assured that you do have a gift, be prepared to accept that it may not be winning souls in the conventional way, or even at all. But you have been greatly blessed by Him for the conviction of His spirit that you recognise, it is Him you need to talk to, pray, read his word, sit quietly until you hear Him speak and you will know what to do.
