19 people are known to have exceeded 1,000 lbs. For years, Robert Earl Hughes was the largest human ever at 1,069 lbs with a chest 10' 4" around. Currently, Daniel Byrne holds the record at 2,521 lbs. The human body is amazingly resiliant, and people can litterally become so obese that they cannot move, but the actual physical limits of one's own body are what really matter. At a certain point, your body cannot handle all the tissue it has, and simply dies.

Really really fat or not too fat at all, depending on what kinds of foods you eat that make you really really fat. A diet high in carbs will get you fat, but you can live a lot longer than eating a diet high in cholestrol, which attacks your heart. There is no real answer

There are reports of people weighing in excess of 1000 pounds, but by that point they are bedridden and unable to take care of themselves. Obesity is a fatal disease, in that it will likely kill you younger than if you were not obese.

It depends a bunch on your biology as to what side effect may kill you first. If you have an airway obstruction while you sleep then it could be all she wrote when you least expect it.
