Depends. There are a limited number of reasons for divorce with remarriage. The corresponding scripture in Matthew states "porneia" as a reason. That should be "fornication," as in sex before marriage. There is also fraud, coercion and other reasons for an acutal annulment. If the "I do" was given under threat or duress (in which case the wedding night would be rape), then the person should get out of that situation ASAP. Likewise, if the person to whom she was originally married was an unbeliever not pleased to dwell, then she can remarry.
In most cases, however, remarriage is adultery.

I believe catholics can't gett marries again in the church unless the marriage is annulled as oppposed to ended through divorce. Most protestant-based churches do permit divorce, I think. It depends on the denomination.

It actually depends. There is only one time when adultery is allowed. If one is unfaithful and commits adultery. Then they can split.
If the man was the unfaithful, they split, and then they marry, it's alright.
If she was the unfaithful, or they were both faithful, then it's wrong.

YES...so by that quote do you take it to mean that the divorced man is still a pure being in god's eyes? Gotta love the double standard.

I dont know for sure. I was just recently reading that in my Bible. Im confused about it. I know my mom did it. It doesn't seem wrong because people do it all the time. I'm really not sure. I'd ask God about it.
