"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you (Matthew 7:12).”

If your slate is clean then you can throw stones
If your slate is not then leave 'them' alone
I'm amazed that 'people' like you
Can be so shallow thick and slow"- Jesus in Jesus Christ Super Star

"I do not serve what you worship; nor do you serve what I worship. You have your own religion and I have mine."
— The Quran

if these are teachings why do they not follow them and leave the rest of us be? Why MUST they be RIGHT? I am not saying they are wrong, because I do not know- but how do they know?

I am not atheist... I am druid... Just curious.

once again- I have a religion, just way different beliefs. I do not need to seek the Truth because I believe I have found it. And those who are preaching, are preaching to the choir, having been baptized and raised Roman Catholic. Druidism was before Christianity and the Holy Trinity is derived from Druidism. No one has struck a nerve except my mother not understanding why I do not believe. My agonostic brother in law and boyfriend... wondering why I believe in druidism telling me I am wrong. Like a few of you just did!!! I am asking why you feel this need?! And yet you are doing it!

They feel the need to warn you that you're going to their hell when you die because they "care" about you. They don't realize that Druidism and all other forms of Paganism have been around thousands and thousands of years, pre-dating Jesus by a long-shot. The concept of hell and heaven were forgin!

It's only been recently that the Christian church, especially the Catholic church, have labeled our beliefs as evil, even though there's no proof to support that theory other than a fallible book written by man.

A lot of people have done their research and prayed about what they believe. We are all very different but we are also very much the same. Because we are all created in the image of God. If you really want to have a personal testimony about God and Jesus Christ do your own studying. A lot of these people feel like they have had a personal witness of truth, only they know if they have. Don't be angry with them it's good they have found God.
They are not judging you or anyone besides judging can go both ways. It is a matter of how they feel and what they have experienced in their life. Always remember we will all have different experiences and what goes around comes around. Be Christlike to all. Universal laws are real. Don't be hard on people that might not know how to express how they believe.

Probably like someone said before, a lot of brain washing.
I believe that Christ was opposed to man made religions for this very reason, it separates people and causes so much hate, and division amongst families, and if you look back at history, you will see how many people have died in the name of religion, and ethnic cleansing in wars, there have been more wars fought in the name of religion than I think anything else, people persecuted, women and children burned at the stake, a lot because of religion.
I do think the statement made in Jesus Christ Super Star is accurate, who amongst us has a clean slate, and I think probably the greatest thing said was LOVE ONE ANOTHER, very difficult it seems.
There are many reasons that people today are turned off by religion, I myself, would rather refer to it as spirituality, being that we are body mind and spirit.

This is such a good question. I am a Christian woman, and I believe the claim of Jesus Christ that He is the only way to the Father...that there is no other way (John 14:6). That being said, I don't go around being obnoxious and telling people how right I am and how wrong they are.

I feel the best way to show others the truth of who Jesus is...is to be a demonstration of who He is. Mercy, compassion, love, joy, peace, forgiveness, kindness. People respond to love by asking questions, and then I can tell them about the one who loves them, Jesus...and about what the bible says of heaven and hell, that there is way one to God, and one way only.

All I can do is love others (as Jesus asked me to), have an answer for the hope that is within me (as God's word asks me to) and to answer questions with humility and respect (also as His word asks me to). The rest is up to the spirit of God, and the heart of the hearer.

Yahoo! Search Prophesies of Islam/Muhammad, and there will be sources from Buddist, Hindu, Jewish, Christian, etc documents referring to Shia Islam. A child can not enter algebra but needs to know 1 + 0 = 1 which is simple math and also the secret of life One God + His creation which is not separate from Him thus it can not be other than Him equals at the end only to Him as One. Religions came as the maturity of the human existence matured while changes occurred to the older ones with politics and evil leaders acting good. One example is Saul who killed hundreds of thousands of Christians but as Christianity became successful he changed his name and thus today he is better known as St. Paul and not the Jewish Saul (Christian books) and introduced the concept of Prophet Jesus as the son of God similar to the Greek idolatry of Apollo the son of Zeus. Fun fact...there is a statue on the white house known to people as the Virgin Mary but a closer photo, it is actually the goddess of the underworld and president Lincoln is sitting in the position as the god of death. Research these things, I dare you.

If any man obeys the commandments of Jesus, he will know who he is obeying. He is called God by most christians, as well as Father. It is His saying that the gospel will be preached to all nations, and then comes the end of the world.

Some want to hurry that along, to end the world. Some would like to see as many as possible being turned to God before it is too late.

I will take it because you are upset that someone struck a nerve.
If you are having a problem accepting the validity of what people are saying. Check it out. Read it for yourself. There are not a hundred truths there is one Truth.

Jhn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

There is no right religion or wrong one, if you have a religion that infringes the basic notions of the human rights maybe that one is wrong. Regarding people that try to get you on their side, i think their effort is admirable as long it implies only good will and not forcing or brainwash techniques.

perhaps those who believe as ES believes, they would be better served to live their lives properly first, so nobody needs to die for their sins. That answer= blank check for sin. I don't believe that the people here are really great examples of modesty. Those wear their religion as a badge, mostly to promote hate against god's other creations. I try to look away

Because as Freddy Nietche observed: "Christians can only think of themselves."
We all have needs and to be in the grip of a faith based view of life is to get stuck at a certain low level of human needs that never really get met, thus those stuck can only think of filling that need.
It's a form of unquenchable spiritual thirst. When thirsty enough, that is all one can think of at the time.
Sad but very true.

Because we are all so sure of our own beliefs that we cannot completely comprehend why someone would not believe the same way we do. It is the same as being mad at someone because they are male or female, and we just don't understand what it is to be like on their side of it.
