brutality. they only teach an "individual practice" there own. I have yet to see a true single religious teaching. I have also tried several different religion's. The best I can tell you is to take a little from each individual they teach and learn from them, Know "ONE RELIGION" has the answer, but collectively they have it right, Each teaches you the small of truth but none have the single true answer alone. Love them all if they are teaching you pure love.and not manipulated hate. remember don't worry about the similarities, Practices the teachings.

The main thing religions have in common? Every religion is man-made.
Even if the religion is based on writings that purport to detail the history of a leader, a prophet, a messiah or another religious figure, the writings came from men and came wth their individual slants on the events and the lessons

Most of them do their own teachings and (Col.2:8)not follow Jesus Christ!
(Phil.2:21 "For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.")

http://community.webshots.com/photo/370320470/1370328718049373547LfXmWo
Most also follow the crowd!
(Matt.7:13 "Enter ye at the strait: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:..."

Now what they have the same (except for 1 church) is they all follow the Catholic Church Teachings.
(Rev.17:5 "And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.")
Catholic Teachings which most Sunday keepers keep--[this is just a few]=
1. Don't believe in the 10 Commandments
2. Worship Sunday
3.Believe in going to heaven
4. Trinity
5. Believe that the Clean/Unclean Meats are done away with.
6. Rapture
7. Believe your loved ones are in heaven
8. Believe in the pagan days
9. Do not believe in the Sabbath Feast days
10. Jesus died Friday and rose Sunday morning
Now the Sabbath keeping groups have 1 or more doctrines of the Catholic Church.
For instance:
1. Seventh Day Adventist believe in the Trinity, Going to heaven, Jesus's death Friday and resurrection Sunday, pagan days, don't believe in the Sabbath Feast Days.
2. Messianic Jews believe in the Trinity.
Now we go to Jehovah Witnesses; they believe Jesus's death Friday and rose Sunday morning.
Now aren't they all daughters following the Catholic Church.
The Bible tells us that the (Rev.13:15; 14:9)Catholic Church's image is doctrines of the Catholic Church.
Didn't you know "he shall think to change times & the law"--Daniel 7:25. R.V.

Didn't you know this church "will cast all God's truth to the ground"--Daniel 8:12.
Didn't you know that the "pope claims to be God".
Also doesn't people confess to him instead of God.--2Thess.2:3-4.

Depending on what qualifies as a 'religion' in your system, the answer can vary dramatically. If you accept a broad approach that simply qualifies religion as a 'group of believes', or 'belief system', then the answer is - they have nothing in common - e.g. Nihilsm is void of any of the answers given up to this point.
If your definition requires the existence of supernatural, sacred, or divine elements, then the answer would be - faith, since the elements cannot be validated. No other common element would exist in this group.
The common elements of course increase vastly, if your definition of religion is along the lines given on sites like http://www.religion-cults.com/ , and bascially accepts a group of 'world religions' and classifies belief systems that deviate too much from the principles of those world-religions as cults....
All 'religions' of course have a group of people believing them.

1)belief in something (or against it)
2) a social code that gets people to behave similarly
can't really think of anythingn else that wouldn't fall under those categories, but they usually will discuss the 2 items together in such a way that people will change or confirm a belief they already have in thier heads about life. all else is detail under these headings
yes, i believe because it helps me change/act

Faith in a principle.
If you take all of the world religions there are few points of dogma that are the same but, as far as I can see, they all (including the less formal religions) have faith in some 'way'.
Peace out

God and faith.
However religion is pure communism, if you do not believe what they tell you, you are cast out. you're forced to believe in religion. I like Christianity better. Also religions have in common, they change to accomadate what man WANTS.
