No, it states in the bible that the dead are conscious of nothing at all look at Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10. There will be a resurrection if that is what you mean by life after death but in that event refer to John 11:23-26. When this event take place all will be present even those that have past.

It depends on your spirituality. Some believe yes and some believe no. I don't have an answer. I am a human like all of these other people. The question is, Is your life fulfilled to this point? Have you accomplished everything you've ever wanted? Have you truly felt happy? Have you thought more about death than you have about living?

if there is life before birth there is life after death, AND if there is we dont remember it now do we? and if we lived after we die which is being born again *reincarnation* we would be born as another human being or some other living creature. But we wouldnt remember it. Only God knows. I think it would be cool to live after you die, only the fact I hate is you wouldn't remember who you were before, and if you liked who you were or not. I wish we could remember or at least know about it. But thats up to you to believe it, if you believe in life after death,.. or to live before birth. I'm sorry i can't give you an accurate answer.

According to God there is. Read Revelation 21, and 22, 1 Thess. 4:16-17, etc. According to God, we do not go to Heaven like a dripping faucet, one by one, but all together at the coming of Jesus. Those that do not believe in God can tell you there is no life after death but who will you believe, God or the godless?

Of course there is life after death. It just all depends on whether you are a born again Christian, or not. For those that are not life after death is Hell, and for those that are life after death is heaven. Remember that Jesus died for us so that we could be with God in heaven. Jesus took all our sins. All we have to do is admit that we are a sinnner, accept Him, and ask Him into our hearts.

-God Bless-

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life." There is life after death to those who accept Jesus as their Lord and saviour and who repent of their sins and ask for forgiveness. Eternal life with Jesus is what his promised. Seek and you will find!

yes, and this is....

What God did...

Think of it this way... Imagine you're in a courtroom again, you're guilty of many serious crimes. The judge says, "It's a fine of $500,000, or prison." You don't have anywhere near that amount of money, so the bailiff begins to walk you out of the courtroom when someone you don't even know appears. He runs up to the judge with a check and says, "I've paid the fine for you." Now that the fine has been paid, the law no longer has any hold on you. You're free -- because of the gift you were given.

This is what God did for you by sending Jesus to die on the cross in your place. So that you wouldn't have to go to Hell, God sent his only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross -- suffering the punishment that justice demands. Then He rose from the grave, forever defeating death! The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) If you will repent of your sins and put your trust in Jesus, God says he will forgive all your sins and grant you the gift of everlasting life. Just like the court case we just talked about, if you repent (that means to confess and forsake your sins) and put your trust in Jesus, then you will not have to suffer God's justice in Hell because the payment for your crimes was made by Jesus on the cross.

If you're not sure what to pray, read Psalm 51, and make it a model for your prayer. The words are not "magical," what God cares about is the attitude of your heart. When you pray, it should sound something like this, "Dear God, I repent of all my sins, such as (name them). I put my trust in Jesus Christ as Lord (to say Jesus is your Lord means you are now making Jesus the master over your life) and Savior. Forgive me and grant me your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."

Now read your Bible daily, and obey what you read. God will never let you down.

What should you read? We suggest that you start in the book named "John," and then read the one named "Romans." Whatever you decide to read, make sure you read every day.

"Life" and the universe are the same thing.

People seem to think "conscious self awareness" means "life."

The body continues to "live" in the sense that it continues to be part of the universe. The body decomposes and converts to other forms of "life," so the answer is that life never ends.

Nor does it begin.

"Conscious self awareness" ("thinking") ends when the brain stops functioning, but that is not the end of "life," it is merely the end of conscious self awareness.
