Holly Rollers to me is just a slang term. I also go to a holiness church or pentecostal church. We are all holy no matter how we serve the lord - whether it be quietly or outwardly. The term "holly roller" to me is given to the people who seem to go all out for God - they wear skirts all the time if they are women, are so filled with the spirit, get the holy ghost, run around the church house, and faint. But anyway, I take the term lightly. I would be proud to be a holly roller - Anything to lift up the name of Jesus.

I don't know if this is an answer, but I remember my father telling me, about the Penecostal churches in my area years ago, the minister would try to get demons to come out of peoples bodies, and they would lie down on the floor of the church and roll around, that is a true story, I think maybe that is why they were called Rollers.
