This boy at my school likes me alot he gave me his phone number last month I called him and we chit chatted for a couple of minutes then he said he was going to call back but never did. Well he basically text messages me everyday to say Whats Up , but he never ever calls. In one text messages he told me he has been liking me for a couple of months.Somtimes i think that maybe he's kinda shy to talk to me , but in school he's loud and basically the class clown. I just want to know why won't he just call me. Do any of you guys like a girl so much that you're afraid to calll...? Should i text he asked him why always text me but never calls..?

A few things. First of all, it definately sounds like he's interested. keep in mind that just because someone is brave in front of groups - like being a class clown- doesn't mean they are confident with one-on-one relationships, especially if it's someone they like romantically. Finally, men think differently then women. He may think he is communicating - and therefore doing what he said he would.do. You might just want to text him and say you'd love for him to call because you like the sound of his voice. Otherwise, get to know him through text-messaging until the phone calls start coming.

Just call him up sometime and ask him to go to the mall or something with you. Maybe he's not that comfortable with you yet. Hang out for a while. He will probably call you when he is more comfortable with you.

Sometimes boys (and girls too) are afraid to call because they're afraid a parent will pick up the phone and be nosy into the guy and girl's relationship.

Maybe he just doesn't like to chat on the telephone. Set up times to meet up so you two can spend time together. A diner, the mall etc...some place that you can talk but the telephone isn't involved.

i have that same problem, i'm loud in class, when there is alot of ppl, but i couldn't call a girl i liked to save my life, u should call him
