I can't have more than one instance of my internet running. This is extremely bothersome as I like to cut and paste from one instance to the next. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

To be more specific, I used to be able to click on the internet icon and open a second instance of the internet. Now, when I click on the icon, my home page pops up on the instance I have open instead of giving me a second window. I have run scans for viruses and I don't have any as per vsheild and norton.

I tried the advanced option and deselected the "Resuse...." I'm still having the same problem.

It sounds like you're using Internet Explorer. Click on Tools, then Internet Options. Click the Advanced Tab, then look under Browsing and locate "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts." Uncheck this item. This should fix the problem.

maybe you have virus, just scan your computer.
