I am very interested in seeing the answers you may get. I just find so many people claiming to be good Christians on here being so unforgiving and downright mean. Calling people stupid and telling them they are murderers who are going to hell. Isn't it better to help guide provide your opinion and then if things don't go they way they hope to pray and forgive that person. I am not saying everyone on here is like that but MANY are.

a. If you were not aware of what you did, then they will most likely forgive you. (Pretty hard, though.)
b. If you were aware of what you did, and either confess or show sorrow for it, you will be forgiven.
c. If you were aware of what you did, but just ignore it like it was nothing, they'll probably be pissed.
- Why back laws banning abortion? They say to protect the innocent babies. Why not just forgive? They do, but you have to be sorry and show sorrow. Also, if you get more then one, your chances of being forgiven are slim. (Also, just a little FYI, rape victims, victims of incest, and women who get them because they are a major threat to their health are forgiven by the logical thinking ones. With the exception of religious figures forced to believe that abortion under any circumstances are wrong, any Christian who doesn't think this is very ignorant and close-minded.)
Also, the majority of women who get abortions get them because they were doing something they shouldn't have been doing until they were ready to accept the consequences of their own actions. They are basically looking for an easy way out to their problems, and usually are the type of people who are irresponsible. That is why I support banning abortion in all forms, with abortions for the women mentioned still left an option.

The decision making is over by the time the pregnancy has occurred. Christians do forgive, that is what Christ taught, but abortions are something you will have to take up with the Lord. Remember murder is still murder. If you don't want the child give it away to someone who does their are plenty of people who would love to have a child. Laws are to protect us. (sometimes they do / sometimes they don't) But we should always teach morals and standards that each will and can live up to. If we would all take responsibility for our self a little more we wouldn't have to have some many laws.

Everyone sees it as the mother's body, but what about the baby's life, doesn't that little life deserve a chance? Good grief, there are people waiting years to adopt because they can't have a baby, yet there are people who've had 3 or 4 abortions because they're inconvenient. Big whoop, it's inconvenient, what a shame. It's only the last month or so that its that uncomfortable, so why don't these people just give these babies to people who want them? Why such a desire to kill them? Yeah, I know, it's inconvenient. I'm not talking rape here, or molestaton, I'm talking about the most common reason for abortion, inconvenience.
I don't think most people go around announcing they had an abortion, we won't know, if they want foregiveness, they'll have to as God to forgive them.

I don't think all Christians are against abortions, personally I think that there are circumstances that allow for them. The loud & obnoxious ones that protest at clinics don't represent the whole christian community & I think that they actually turn people away from God. Here is a situation where someone is hurting but instead of drawing them close, comforting them & loving them despite their choices (which by the way is what God does) these people choose to judge & condem them, calling them murders & sinners. No wonder so many dont want to be part of christianity, most dont exactly feel welcome. Please keep in mind though those people dont represent ALL christians.

We do forgive those who choose to have an abortion. But forgving them does nothing for the millions of unborn babies who are not being given chances to live. These babies do not have voices to speak for themselves, and when those who defend abortion say the woman should do what she wants with her body, they are not thinking of the innocent. Christians should most definitely not look down on or condemn women who choose to have an abortion; abortion is now worse than any sin Christians commit every day, as no one is perfect. But I do believe, that people, including Christians, should fight for the unborn.

We do forgive them. But at the same time, we can't allow the murder of children. They have no one else to protect them at that point, since their parents have chosen not to value them. We forgive a woman who strangles her 6 year old in the bathtub, but at the same time we refuse to make it legal for her to do so. The situation is no different.

Bingo.
And seriously, why the hell is it any of their business what other women choose to do with their bodies?
If a woman decides to get an abortion, it is primarily up to her, and secondarily up to the potential father. Anybody else needs to keep their noses out of the couple's business.

A commandment is
Thy shall not Kill
But if someone does it anyway, what is their to forgive, it their own body, they didn't do anything to hurt anyone but them and the un born baby.
