Naturally. As long as pollution continues, the world logically will be more polluted every day. The population grows exponentially, most of that population acquires a car, resulting in air and noise pollution. The many natural disasters to recently grip the world (the Indian Ocean tsunami, Hurricane Katrina, etc.) massively increase pollution by rupturing and spreading sewage pipes. As more fuels are burned, acid rain is made, heavily polluting the water, along with runoff from more construction sites and pollutants from factories. This in turn affects groundwater, polluting the soil. As all of these causes increase with the population, so will pollution.

There is no definite answer, because there is no possible way of determining how much pollution is being put into the air opposed to how much pollution is taken out of the air. Also, this question is subjective, thus our opinion is always the correct answer.

What do I think? I think there is a minute increase every day.

Yes, As the population increases so does the use of electricity, water, fuel and food goods. All of which are related to the burning of some sort of fuel. Which relates to polluting the atmosphere. You have to burn coal to make electricity, electricity which powers microwaves, lights, heaters. So this brings up another point. Are electric cars really all that good for the environment? You have to burn fuel oil or coal to make the electricity that powers the car. Then what do you do with the battery when it dies? land fill?

Yes. People live in extreme excess and waste. Big cars and SUV's, big homes, plowing up the forests, landfills filling up, and it seems that everyone has money to burn. We are using up all of our natural resources faster than it can be created. I tis such a shame the world we are leaving for our children's children.
