Does Munchausen by Proxy deal with psychological control also?

This is more of a physical disorder. Mothers try to portray themselves as the hero, i.e. saving the child from drowning when they pushed them in the pool, or saving them from being sick when they actually poisoned them. This sounds like emotional abuse and child abuse as opposed to Munchausen by Proxy disorder.

i believe that Munchausen by Proxy is a psychological problem. The mother usually wants the attention that a sick child gets, so therefore they make their child sick in order for someone to pay them some attention. I have seen this before and nothing good can come of it. Sometimes the mother injures the child for the attention making it look as if they had a accident (such as making them fall to break a bone, even though the child thinks they accidentally fell, the child was actually pushed) Sometimes this mental problem of the child, ends tragically.
