Test drive the new one. I bought a Civic EX Sedan in February and while I'm not crazy about the Star Wars dashboard, the new model is faster and handles better than 2001 Civic. If you absolutely can't stand the new Civic, have a look at the Honda Fit. Hasn't got a lot of acceleration by today's standards, but it comes pretty close to the 2001 Civic LX and handles better. The way the interior can be reconfigured for all kinds of different uses is neat too.

I dont know if this will help but here is a list of 27 2004-2005 civic's that are still new. They are all around the country so hopefully there will be one for you!

if its not too old of a model year, you can probably find another good used one with less miles in good shape.. there's always some "little old lady" who didnt get to drive one much..

but take a "positive risk" the new ones are supposed to be great.. (and you can get them between 14k and 20k.. pretty cheap for a new car)

what year do you have? The only option is if it's last years model or you find someone that has one that is almost new.
