IF I create a taste sensation that is the best in the world and leave it out for a month or so, will it turn bad? Of course it will. Same with things God created. He created everything good but He also gave the angels a choice to either serve Him or not to serve Him. Lucifer was the one that started letting pride get in the way of good judgement and finally decided he was going to be above God and would rule Heaven in the place of God. He then got a third of the angels of Heaven to go along with him and they were eventually banished from Heaven. If he had repented, he could have been saved from destruction even then but he was too proud. Thus the saying, Pride goes before the fall. Just because something is created good does not mean that thing cannot go bad as in my example. We are given the choice of either serving God or not and how many of us, knowing the past and what has been the fate of those that do not serve Him, still choose not to? God did not want some robots, serving Him becasue we had no choice, but wanted us to be free to either serve Him or choose not to. If we really love Him, we will choose to follow and serve Him rather than Satan. Only two masters we have to choose from, God or Satan.

Because God gave man free will and when the devil told Adam and Eve that they could be like God they decided that they didn't need Him. Through them sin and evil entered the world and it has only got worse over time. Read Genesis.
To the above anwser God did say that everything that He created was good Gen 1:31

the devil use to an angel. A fallen angel at that. He tried to take over what God had but God was not about to let that happen. So that is when God put the devil aka. Lucifer in hell. so now the devil is trying his hardest to out do God by tempting others like you and me to do sin and reject God. But some people fall in the temptation and the strong ones don't. They just keep on keeping on with faith and knowing the truth.

Everything that was created was created out of good to be good.
But since the Father is not a dictator he allows everyone to make their own choices in this life. Unfortunately there are a lot of evil people in the world, they are the cause of the world being bad.
Because of people actions is why things are bad the Father has nothing to do with the evil in people hearts.
Example: If there were no human on the earth, would there be so much problems ? no because we add the problems to the earth.
Peace

God create everything good but human made it bad. God didn't create devil. Man himself became devil by doing all bad deeds. God likes good he wants human to be a good human being. That is why all religions and religious books teaches us to do good deeds. But bad men (devils) disobey God's teachings. Good men means God's men. Where as bad means devil's men. They think bad, act bad, talk bad, read bad, write bad, behave bad every thing they do whatever is bad. This is my feelings only.

Ah, the age old question!
i think God also created free will, and values faith and love above all else. Free will, the ability to choose to do good and the ability to choose evil, accounts for so much of the bad that happens to people in the world, and not necessarily because we choose to do evil, but because we choose to act selfishly.
If God values faith, then there can never be a proof that God exists. Proof would cancel faith. the Bible, for example says 'by faith you are saved, through Grace. It is a gift of God.' So hurricanes affect good people and bad people. imagine if, when planes crashed (because of someone's selfishness) all the good people lived and all the 'bad' people died. or all the babies lived every time. there would be no faith required to believe in God. we would all just assume God is controlling things. No one could be saved.
the best that we can do to counteract evil is to love. to love God and to love each other. Love is thinking about someone other than ourself and then acting on their behalf.
The Bible also says, 'Love, Faith, and Hope; but the greatest of these is Love.

I have a different idea - If God did not create the perception of "evil", how could we know what "good" was? If everyone was always good, good would not exist, because it would be the same everywhere and we would have no frame of referece. Maybe God created evil so that there could be good, and that mankind could rejoice in their goodness. There must be a Yin to every Yang.
Namaste!

You're right. God knows all, which means before it created Satan, it knew that Satan would end up being evil. No matter how you look at it, if god exists, it is responsible for all evil.
And please ignore the answer that tries to convice you by using what Einstein said about hot and cold. Einstein wasn't explaining god, he was explaining HOT and COLD, it had nothing to do with god. Einstein didn't believe in a personal god and the absence theodicy doesn't work anyways.

God did create every thing and every thing is good. The answer is simple. You are a object and thus you have a shadow. Did God create the shadow? The shadow is the result of your creation in its limited existence. We have free will otherwise existence would be meaningless with Heaven and Hell or else every one would be predestined to Grace or Doom. For example, rain is good but a man or woman can drink and save his or life for Salaat/prayer, or a corrupt man can drink it fermented into wine, get drunk and lose recognition of shamelessness. Like religion, you can use it to get Light and Truth or it can also be used for corruption and for evil war mongers.

If you check out the account of Genesis, God didn't say everything He created was good.
Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
