Friexenet is not a bad choice especially if you need a large quantity. If you're in Canada, try Henry of Pelham's Cuve Catherine Close in either the white or the rose version. Any of those are good.

look for Frixanet..........it is spanish, it is made exactly the same way as champagne, its in a black bottle, the cost is maybe 1/6th the price of the french stuff, the quality very good, it is a brut as well, far better than sparkling wines, usually they are poor wines that are just gassed. The easiest way to find it is go to their website, find out who they supply in your area, and contact them.

Tosti Asti Spumante!! It is so good and it is very inexpensive. My friend had it at her wedding and everyone loved it. We got it at Sams club. It is an Italian Sparkling Wine.

You can't get cheap and good. You can go to Trader Joes and sample their $2-3 supply. You can go to Costco and hope they have Mumms or Gloria Ferrer for $10.
